Stitches out today!
Stitches came out today. JJ is a happy boy to have the pink, sparkly cone off…even if it was absolutely adorable LOL
We are going to take him on a walk around the block tonight to see how he does. He is now 16 days post amp and doing great!

One is missing out of the pic but she had a doctor’s appointment and couldn’t go with Daddy to get the stitches out! And you can have JJ if I can have Jill 😉

Max is an old-timer on the Tripawds site. He had his amputation way back in 2008, and sadly passed in early 2010. We stay on the site to offer experience and advice to all the new folks, like JJ! In fact, we haven’t been to All Care since 2010, but my husband and I instantly recognized that photo. We were “regulars” there for Max’s 14 months! I am so glad JJ’s surgery went well, and he is back home and on the road to recovery. Not sure where you guys are located, we are in Tustin, Orange County. We currently have two four-legged pooches and four cats! Don’t hesitate to PM if you ever need anything!

I’m so sorry to hear about Max. We are in the Norwalk/La Mirada area, just about 30 minutes or so from you. We have a few 4-legged monsters (and by a few I mean 4) at home too so my hubby says no cats despite my begging 🙂 But now that JJ is inside I have my furry buddy and the girls have an animal who can keep up with them and start to learn how to take care of that won’t knock them on their behinds. Our outside dogs are quite large…

Hey there JJ! You look great! Glad to hear you’re doing so well. By the way, is that photo of you and your big sisters at VCA All Care Center? If so, that’s where my dog Max also had his amputation and chemo!

So glad he’s doing so well, especially this relatively early! You little guys are so tough!!
