One week post amp report…
JJ got a thumbs up from the vet yesterday! His incision is healing well and his remaining back leg looks good.
We can go ahead and take him of the Tramadol now (yay!) so hopefully I will have my bouncing boy back soon 🙂
A nice family stopped us as we were leaving the vet…they asked me how long it had been since he lost the leg. When I told them a week they were very surprised. He gets around with no problems and looks like he’s been doing it for years!

Yes you mighty little big guy–you are showing off I do believe! Great job and I know mom is feeling a lot better too!And to be off pain meds too? Wow! And it’s okay if you do have to go back to taking them, sometimes you might have to “revisit” the drugs if you two get some pain back. But mighty dogs like you will blast through any challenge like the real champion you are. Sooooo glad you are BOTH doing well! Good job!

JJ that’s great news!
Tumbleweed goes to see the doc today to get his staples out.
He will stay on the tramadol a little longer cause the stairs are really wearing him out.
We’ll post later and let everyone what the doc says, ruff!
